WL V911 4 CH Single Rotor Helicopter Version 2
I have had a chance to research and study more than thirty type of remote control helicopter. The more I have studied them, the more I understand and know that each aircraft is completely different to all others.
For most RC consumers, they tend to understand that the difference between RC Helicopters is typically based on the size, assuming that if it’s bigger, then it’s better. However, this is not always the case.
The reality is that size defines only a fraction of what you want to look for in a helicopter. Today I want to introduce you the improved WL V911 toy. I will prove my point on this review that not all medium helis are toy-grade ones.
What is so unique about this Single Rotor Helicopter?
If you have been reading my complete reviews, you will know that each device has something that makes it unique and out stands than others.
I wouldn’t lie, that you will find plenty of RC selections in the market today. But it is also crucial to set a glance at what each device offers as you plan to purchase one for yourself.
If you have been looking for a more improved and effective helicopter, the V911 latest version could be just what you have been looking for. The best thing is that the following factors should be listed in your top list sticky notes when purchasing this helicopter.
- Level of expertise
- The new and improved transmitter technology
- In and Out Flyer
Quality of the Device
It goes without saying; you don’t need to touch the helicopter for you to identify its well-built body. If you look at it closer online, you will clearly see that is it definitely built to last. The parts are accurately assembled, and it’s obvious that the construction is behind this proper design. Not to mention the main rotor blades which are made to last and support the helicopters flexibility. They will not break at first crash since they are strong and can withhold more crashes without breaking.
Summary: The WL V911 Version 2 uses 2.4 GHz frequency to communicate. In other words, it means interference-free. Some helis tend to have poor transmitting systems thus leading to malfunction or sudden downfall due to low signal. The technology ensures you are always in control of your heli.
Level of Expertise
This is the best choice of RC helicopter if you want to move on with your learning curve. The aircraft is made of flexible plastic hence giving you 4 channels to have fun with it. This way, you will be able to rotate on the main rotor blade axis, counter-clockwise or clockwise, back/forward, left/right and up/down. Now I am starting to prove my point; it is not as easy as it sounds.
Summary: The more you advance with different types of helicopters, the more you will know that flying an RC aircraft is not like driving the toy-grade remote controlled cars.
For this reason, it is advised for you to start at a beginner level before planning to go to a more advanced level. If you are a novice, I would suggest for you to choose a 3 or 3.5 channel helicopter. Note that the more the channels, the more maneuvers you can do with the helicopter.
Improved Transmitter technology
I wanted to notice that this WL V911 version 2 battery will not fit in version1.Only purchase the batteries accordingly. And note what I always say; if you have already bought your heli, also don’t forget to buy a set of spare parts.
It is and Indoor and Outdoor heli
This is something awesome about this gadget. I will call it as a 2 in 1 RC heli. Since it is stronger than most of the beginner’s aircraft and it can also withstand slight breeze. However, do not exceed the maximum transmitter range thus 26 to 36 meter (85 to 118 feet)
Consumers are reporting two main issue about this helicopter. First are the broken helicopter parts which I have mentioned that you should purchase a full set of spare parts and set aside. Second is the helis interference confusion. I would like to finalize that this heli tends to use digital technology hence binding each heli to its individual radio transmitter. You can opt to fly two helicopters in the same room, but not at the same time.
